Dancehall artiste Benji Hype, who is known for the 'Google Bad Mind' single, was robbed at gunpoint by two men after exiting a dancehall party held during the Memorial Day weekend. He was reportedly robbed of US$2000 cash as well as two expensive gold chains worth over US$10,000. He reported the matter to the New York police who are investigating.


"Is just bad mind. Ah long time dem did a watch me and ah pree out mi ting. The robbers were not Jamaicans, ah two Yankee youth and both of them armed with guns. One of the youths who ah par wid me run lef me after the youth point the gun at mi head and tek off the chain," Benji Hype told one876entertainment.com in an exclusive interview.
