Las Vegas-based reggae band Bonafide will be coming to Jamaica this month to promote their single, Leaving Come the Morning, featuring Vybz Kartel. The band plans to shoot a video with the popular deejay for the song which has been getting a lot of airplay on IRIE FM in recent weeks. Widely regarded as the most popular reggae band in the Las Vegas area, Bonafide has been on the reggae scene for nearly 20 years.

The band will be releasing their long-awaited CD 'Stay Strong' this year which has several popular tracks including combinations with Busy Signal, a high energy rollicking single called "Shake That Bumpa", the ice cream smooth 'Leaving Come the Morning' with a wicked cameo by Vybz Kartel and a song carved in lover's rock oak, a real gem of a song featuring Etana called "I Want 2 Be the 1".

Last year Bonafide earned a second EME (Excellence in Music and Entertainment) Award nomination for "Band of the Year", primarily due to the success of their hits "Sold Out" and "Leaving Come the Morning" featuring Vybz Kartel.

The band consists of the Stephens brothers, Donovan "Junior Roots" (vocals/drums), Wayne "Bass Wayne" (bass) , Robert "Ricky Dread" (vocals/keyboards), Mickey "Gits" (guitar), along with Kerry "Omar" Bell, the group's MC.
