Reggae firebrand Chuck Fenda will be releasing his latest album,'Jah Elements' on September 10th.
Produced by Lloyd 'John John' James and distributed by independent label Zojak World Wide, the album is already an insider sensation in reggae circles because of its riveting content, brilliant lyrics and artfully produced tracks.
"This album took me several months to put together. I put a lot of time and effort into crafting this album, and creating an exciting new sound for reggae music. When the album is released on September 10th by Zojak, I expect that it is going to shake up things internationally, this album will be my magnus opus," Chuck Fenda said.
Zojak recently inked a deal with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment that will enable Zojak’s artists to receive revenue from Clear Channel’s digital and broadcast radio revenue streams. Zojak is leading a digital revolution in the local music industry as the company distributes and promotes the music of more than 750 reggae labels and their artistes while maintaining the largest digital distribution catalog of Jamaican music in the world.
"I am looking forward to a successful partnership with Zojak, ome that will advance the Chuck Fenda brand worldwide," Fenda said.
Chuck Fenda has had a successful run over the last couple of months with hard-hitting singles such as 'It Hard' which soared to #1 on the CVM Hitlist video chart and 'Warning', which also did well on international and local reggae charts.
As he amps up promotion of the album, Chuck Fenda will be performing in London at the Brixton Academy on September 29th alongside reggae heavyweights Etana, I Octane, Luciano and Nesbeth.
"I will do my usual hits plus showcase new tracks from the album," he said. Chuck Fenda, remarkably, has stayed true to his roots reggae format, despite being moulded from the hard-core dancehall era with songs like 'Badda Badda'. He is known around the world for his extensive catalogue, which includes the chart-topping classics 'Gash Them', 'Coming Over' featuring Cherine, 'Herbalist Farmer', the soulful 'Oh My Lord', 'Gwaan Plant' and 'I Swear'. "It's all about real reggae, conscious message with strong content. $With 'Jah Elements', I will be delivering musical fire for the souls of the downtrodden and oppressed," Chuck Fenda said. Earlier this year, Chuck Fenda completed a month long 'Living Fire' US tour that saw him crisscrossing several states in USA.
