Montego Bay-based Rickey Teetz has now landed the biggest gig of his career as he has been billed to perform on Dancehall Night during this year's Reggae Sumfest showcase at Catherine Hall. The artiste is thrilled to be on the lineup of his first major reggae festival.

"Mi ah go shell it straight. Mi ah go give the fans a memorable performance. It's been a long time coming for me in the music business and all my hard work is paying off, Sumfest, here I come, " Rickey Teetz said.

Rickey Teetz has carved out a niche for himself in the dancehall with his high-impact songs such as the socially conscious 'Lighters Up' which became a favourite on radio and street dances all over the islands. He also has songs that cater to the seamier side of life such as the kinetic '630 Walk' and the girls anthem, 'Tip Yuh' which were guaranteed crowd-pleasers.

He has worked hard to build up a repertoire of songs such as the chart-burner 'Poverty Life', 'Physically', '1000 Block', and Loving You which have been generating airplay in Jamaica and overseas.
