Guh Hawd Productions recording artiste has released a new single called ‘Suitcase’ where he makes an earnest wish to escape the desperate poverty that has defined his life in the tough neighbourhood of Frankfield in Clarendon.

“This song is just about the livity that poor people ah face in Jamaica right now, this ah represent for every ghetto youth who wants better days and ah try hold it, mi ah try give them hope that all is not lost, especially where I come from, in Frankfield, too much ah mi friends dem dead, or de a jail…it’s really hard,” Ricky Frass said.
On the single, Ricky Frass deejays on the hook: I wish I if I could put back my life in a suitcase/I would ship it off to a better place/Tired fi a waste out mi days/Mi really want to turn a better page.
“The inspiration ah everyday thing weh happen around we, anno pretty boy thing, a more time ah just distress. An artiste cannot write a fairytale, ah just a depiction of my life,” he said. One of the best lines falls in the second verse where he deejays: where I’m from is like the yutes dem under a spell/death be onto those who rebel/if yu lucky yu might reach inna the jail cell/dem say a Frankfield but mi say a Frank-hell The single, ‘Suitcase’, is one of the lead singles from his first EP for Guh Hawd Productions which will be released in the first quarter of this year.
