  One876entertainment understands that the late Tracy Bennett, who was involved in a steamy love triangle involving Wayne 'Captain Barkey' Hamilton and a Haitian promoter called Joseph Kernizan, had links with the local reggae-dancehall industry as she is related to lawyer-reggae singer Lorna Bennett, and producer Don Corleone Bennett, and she is also a cousin of the late Flava Squad sound system owner and promoter Selvin 'Ewan' McCrae.  

She was killed in a double homicide over the weekend. The authorities said that Wayne Hamilton, 50, a reggae musician from Milwaukee, and Tracy Bennett, 38, from Long Island, were dead when the police arrived. The police did not speculate about a motive and did not indicate whether Mr. Hamilton and Ms. Bennett were acquainted, but issued a description of the shooter as a 42 year-old five foot five man weighing 220 pounds.
