RAGGATRONIC collective We Chief has released their latest single, 'Fresh Lemonade', featuring reggae-dubstep artiste Jahdan Blakkamoore & Captain Planet.

The single, which music critics have dubbed the "perfect Summer banger" pulses with low-end bass, and a driving syncopated rhythm that’s perfect for outdoor BBQs, beach parties and club soirees.

"The track, which is sure to be a summer anthem, was released on July 17, 2015. We will be amping up promotion of the single for the Summer, so look out for it on a radio station near you," an enthused Geoffrey Rand, producer and frontman of We Chief, said.

The group, which is a new music and multimedia project launched in 2014 by Geoffrey Rand, mixes   "EDM" style dance music with beats from around the world and is influenced heavily by reggae/dancehall.

"This eclectic combination of sounds has led We Chief and it growing tribe to coin the term "Raggatronic" to describe its sound," Rand said.

We Chief has previously released singles and videos that have been praised by Vibe Magazine, Large Up, This Song Slaps, and Magnetic Magazine to name a few.  Their music has also been featured in mixtapes by prominent DJ’s including Jillionaire (Major Lazer), Deejay Theory, DJ Green Lantern and more. WE CHIEF songs have been played on international FM radio stations including Jamaica’s Hitz and Zip FM as well as Sirius XM and BBC 1.

Now, We Chief is ready to raise the bar with its live show which will rival any other on the planet.

"The We Chief live show will bring a new, worldly and creative dimension to dance music performance. It will incorporate beats from around the globe with various forms of EDM, live vocals, captivating visuals, dancing and auxiliary percussion. It will truly bring a unique and engaging feel that is missing in today’s typical “DJ” performances," Rand said.

Recently, the group joined the chorus of voices supporting the legalization of cannabis, worldwide, and High Times has recently featured their track and music video for  "Time Fi Legalize" featuring Ragga Twins & Gosteffects.

"It's a great look, and we love the support we have got from mix tapes and radio stations Jamaica and from industry players all over the world," he said.
