Dancehall music just got another black eye as dancehall artiste Ninjaman was found guilty of murder a short while ago in the Supreme Court. 

Beenie Man will be performing at the 'Live at the Devon' series this Thursday, November 16th. Earlier this week, Willcom Creative and SMA Talent Jamaica has announced the rescheduling of the ‘Live At The Devon’ Series launch event with feature act Beenie Man to this Thursday, November 16th.

Macka Diamond's fans are up in arms over a perceived diss which happened on a stage show in Alexandra, St. Ann over the weekend. Macka, who had been performing first, told the screaming fans that she would be bringing Charly Blacks onstage to perform their hit song together, and when the fans got wild in anticipation of the song, he walked out and did another song instead. Macka Diamond could not be reached for comment.

    A war of words has erupted between Spice and Beenie Man over who is the leading artiste in their respective categories in dancehall. Beenie Man, during an Onstage interview, poured cold water on Spice's achievements, suggesting that she had not reached the heights of crossover appeal of her predecessor, Lady Saw. 

Reggae artiste Safira Mono is getting rave reviews for the theme tackled in her latest video, 'Cruff Life', which features a 18th century slavery theme complete with a Great House, sweating field slaves and white slave owners.
